![]() ![]() During this assignment, Murderbot ends up saving a scientist from a monster trying to eat it although both the human and Murderbot where badly injured in the process. We are introduced to the protagonist, Murderbot, who is on an assignment but we quickly learn that it has hacked its command system, so it is basically free to do whatever it wants but as it knows it will be disassembled for parts if it is found out, it tries to act as “normal” as possible. As most of the books in this series are under 200 pages, my review will be a lot shorter than it normally is. I have heard tons about the Murderbot series and I finally decided to read it because each of the books are really short. ![]() Title: All Systems Red (The Murderbot Diaries Book 1) by Martha Wells ![]()

Brief Summary of Book: Loot (Loot #1) by Jude Watson ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The city, its people, the stage that the city is for people that live here and visit were all put under a review that in part felt like tabloid tale and part investigative travelogue. This book reflects not a case of suspected murder with different classes of the city of Savannah, Georgia, but instead it focused on the fire that gutted the opera house Teatro La Fenice in Venice, Italy. Walking the shelves of a local independent bookseller last fall, I struck upon Berendt‘s The City of Falling Angels, which came out roughly 11-years after the first. Based on the eccentric characters of the movie Midnight, along with the suspense of the underlying mystery with the city as a strong central character, I was intrigued to get to know a different story as observed and told by John Berendt that would have me as intrigued. The book that forms prompted the screenplay for that movie was Berendt‘s book Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil: A Savannah Story. I was first introduced to John Berendt‘s work as an author when I saw the movie based on based on his earlier book Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil (1997). ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() “You’ll be taken on a suspenseful roller-coaster that will keep you riveted until the last page.” – Parade “ Buckle up, because you won’t be able to put this one down.” – Glamour Magazine Plot twists abound.” – The Wall Street Journal “The best domestic suspense novel since Gone Girl.” – In Touch Magazine “Has already emerged as one of the most popular books of the year, captivating readers with its…shockingly twisty narrative.” – Film rights snapped up: check.” – USAToday This one will keep you guessing.” –Anita Shreve, New York Times bestselling author of The Stars are Fire “A fiendishly clever romantic thriller in the vein of Gone Girl and The Girl on the Train. “A clever thriller with masterful twists.” – Karin Slaughter, New York Times bestselling author of The Good Daughter “A fiendishly smart cat-and-mouse thriller.” – The New York Times Twisted and deliciously chilling, The Wife Between Us exposes the secret complexities of an enviable marriage – and the dangerous truths we ignore in the name of love. ![]() You will assume you know the anatomy of this tangled love triangle.
